On July 12, 1949, Faith married Ray Berg at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee, WI. They resided in Green Bay raising a family of eight children. After Ray retired, Faith and Ray enjoyed 25 years as snowbirds in Panama City Beach, FL. She loved doing crafts as well as taking early morning walks on the beach collecting sea shells. Faith's family was extremely important to her, as she was always there for her children and grandchildren. Whether it was Solitaire, Skip-Bo, or Thirty-One, you could be assured that she was up for a game and always provided the quarters as well as the entertainment for anyone around.
Anyone who knew Faith, knew her name described her passion in life. She was devoted to her faith and stressed the importance of prayer to all around her. She looked so forward to Saturday afternoon Mass where she would see all of her friends. Her second calling was a "greeter", as she spoke to anyone she saw on her weekly shopping trips to Walmart with Mary and Terry.

Mary Frances Killian, 89, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at ManorCare-West Nursing Center. Mary was born Nov. 14, 1919, in the town of Brazeau, Wis., the daughter of the late Otto and Mary (Lessor) Klover. The second youngest of 15 children, she moved to Green Bay as a young girl to live with a sister. There she met and married Robert Killian on May 11, 1943. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1982. Mary was a member of St. Jude Parish where she was a devoted and active parishioner. She was a member of the St. Jude Choir and the Mary Guild and a longtime member of the Daughters of Isabella. She also volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital.
Mary believed deeply in her religion and practiced her beliefs with all she encountered. She had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a truly dedicated mother whose selflessness and love for her family knew no bounds. Her family and friends will always remember her for her piety and humility, and fondly for her famous fudge. (Though her children strive to continue this tradition, none have equaled Mary's fudge, because they never saw her measure and somehow it always came out just right.) She will also be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes.
She will be deeply missed by her five daughters and four sons and their spouses, Patricia and Joseph Owens, Janesville; Sue and Tom Kolb, Des Moines, Iowa; Mike Killian, Green Bay; Robert and Joyce Killian, Hobart; Mary Jo and John Lawton, Hobart; Kathy and Mike Allard, Penrose, Colo.; Tom and Beth Killian, Sobieski; Michelle Grzelak, Jim Killian, both of Green Bay; 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Ella Egstad, Violet Smits; nieces and nephews.
